Here you can experience the unknown, wild backcountry of this region while staying in one of the 2 comfortable accommodations. You sleep on 700 metres height with an extensive view to the south coast and enjoy the nature and space around you. Within 5 km you reach the village and the many restaurants. Garganta da Foia combines staying in nature with comfort and privacy. We offer 2 accommodations: a spacious B&B room and a luxury Glamping Lodge with own kitchen and bathroom.

The Serra da Monchique in which Garganta da Foia is situated, is an extended mountain range. T he Fóia is in this range the highest mountain of the Algarve with 905 metres. From your accommodation you can easily explore this area. Walking, cycling or on the mountain bike.

By car you can make beautiful excursions to the beaches on the south or west coast or historic cities as Lagos, Silves or Portimão.
